SURVIVING THE MAZE
In 2005 Carers Victoria for the "By Carers, For Carers" Project produced a series of approximately 60 information sheets written specifically for people who are caring for an older family member or friend.
These information sheets cover everything from starting caring, to dealing with the hospital system, to being a carer in residential care.
The information sheets are divided into the follow four series:
SERIES ONE - Caring for an older person
SERIES TWO - Dealing with hospitals
SERIES THREE - Considering residential care
SERIES FOUR - Caring for someone in residential care
While much of the information contained in these sheets is relevant for all carers, some of the sheets are specific to people who live in Queensland.
